How to get started

From your first sign-in:

  1. Create your personal space

    Keep your documents, tasks, and useful context together in a workspace you control.

  2. Connect your agent

    Add your workspace’s MCP connection and review the access you want to grant.

  3. Give your agent a memory habit

    Add Space instructions to the file or settings your agent uses, then try a read-only connection check.

  4. Save something worth continuing

    Ask your agent to save a decision or next step, then open it in Space and check what was recorded.

Make Space part of the way your agent works. Set up its memory instructions once, then keep useful context between sessions.

Paste the setup prompt into your connected agent to add Space memory instructions. It will preserve your existing instructions and guide you through any manual steps.

Once connected, ask your agent to retrieve the context and open tasks for your project.

Update your instructions

Already set up? Ask your agent to review its Space instructions while preserving connection settings and personal edits. It will ask before making changes.

Copying a prompt does not edit files or run tools. The connection check is read-only; saving needs write access. Client connection support varies.

What has been tested?

On 11 September 2026, a real Codex CLI session created and read a document, created and updated a task, and checked saved revisions through an authorized MCP connection. The results were also checked in the development app.

That is an early document-and-task integration check. Broader client compatibility and reliable memory across sessions still need their own validation. Read the full test scope and results.

How do I create an account?

Create your account at app.getspace.sh and sign in with Google, GitHub, or an email address and password. A new account starts with a private Space; every plan and its price is on the pricing page, and a team can start with a pilot from the homepage’s Pricing section. Connecting an agent is described in the connection guide.
